I became engaged in 2004 and began looking for a dress. I knew I wanted something unique; a dress that wasn't what everyone else was wearing. Going to bridal shops was such a disappointment. There was so much about the experience that just didn't personally work for me. I finally decided to have my own dress custom made and was happy with the results. But, in the process, I decided that there was a need for something alternative, something vintage, something economical that still looked stunning and was green-minded. I began finding vintage dresses and became committed to opening a boutique that would offer brides the largest collection of vintage wedding gowns in the US. And who wants just the dress? It works so well to have vintage shoes, beaded bags, glam jewelry and cake toppers all under one roof.
If you are a larger size bride, the following is for you...As we all know, vintage can be ridiculously tiny in sizing. Our selection of larger sizes is certainly smaller, but it is choice. Most importantly, we are able to restructure most of our smaller dresses up to three sizes larger. Many of our brides are sized 10 and up to 20. We not only remake dresses but we are committed to increasing our inventory of luscious vintage reproductions dresses in plus sizes.
Our mission is to provide a fun boutique shopping experience for our customers. We take appointments for bridal so that we can devote time to our brides without pressure or distractions.
